Building the intelligence layer for every vehicle.
Blinkey transforms fragmented vehicle data into clear, practical decisions—connecting diagnostics, maintenance, accident analysis, repair intelligence, and connected hardware in one global platform.
Built at the intersection of software, automotive data, and practical AI.
“We are not starting with a generic AI concept. We are solving real vehicle problems.”
Why are you the right founder/team to work on this?
I am building Blinkey from the intersection of software, automotive data, and practical AI. Rather than starting with a generic AI concept, I have been developing Blinkey around real vehicle problems: understanding OBD2 data, diagnosing warning codes, managing maintenance, analyzing accident damage, estimating repair costs, and helping drivers make better decisions about their cars.
As a founder, I have been deeply involved in both product development and the underlying technical architecture, including the mobile application, backend infrastructure, vehicle data processing, AI integrations, localization, subscriptions, and the overall user experience.
This hands-on approach allows us to iterate quickly based on actual technical limitations and user needs instead of relying only on high-level assumptions.
Blinkey is also being built with a global market in mind. The product supports multiple languages and is being prepared for expansion across North America, Europe, Japan, South America, and other markets where connected vehicle services are growing.
Our long-term vision is bigger than an OBD2 scanner app. We want Blinkey to become an AI-powered vehicle intelligence platform that connects vehicle data, diagnostics, maintenance, accident analysis, repair decisions, and eventually dedicated hardware into one ecosystem.
Vehicle data is abundant.
Understanding it is not.
Modern vehicles generate enormous amounts of useful information, but most of it remains inaccessible—or is presented in a language only technicians understand.

Why did you pick this idea to work on?
A driver may see a Check Engine light, an OBD2 fault code, unusual vehicle behavior, or damage after an accident, but still have no clear answer to the most basic questions. That gap is what motivated Blinkey.
We saw an opportunity to combine vehicle data with AI so that complex automotive information could be translated into clear, useful guidance for ordinary drivers.
From there, the idea expanded naturally. Vehicle diagnostics are connected to maintenance. Maintenance is connected to vehicle history. Accident damage is connected to repair costs and parts choices. Driving data can also provide useful insights about efficiency and vehicle condition.
Instead of building another single-purpose OBD2 utility, we decided to build a broader vehicle intelligence platform around the entire ownership experience. Our goal is to make understanding a car as easy and accessible as checking a health or financial app on a smartphone.
THE CORE INSIGHT
Drivers do not really want raw vehicle data.
They want decisions.Who are your competitors?
Car Scanner, FIXD, Carly, BlueDriver, and other vehicle maintenance or diagnostic platforms.
Many existing products are very good at retrieving vehicle data or fault codes. Most focus on one part of the ownership journey:
- OBD2 diagnostics
- Live vehicle data
- Maintenance tracking
- Repair information
- Accident analysis
- Recall information
Connect every signal to a practical next step.
A fault code should not end with “P0420.” The driver should understand what it means, how serious it may be, which components might be involved, and what to do next.
Accident analysis should not simply identify a damaged bumper. It should help the user understand potential repair costs and compare genuine versus aftermarket parts.
Blinkey combines vehicle telemetry, diagnostic history, maintenance information, visual AI, repair-cost intelligence, recalls, and eventually dedicated connected-car hardware.
Over time, this combination can create structured vehicle-condition intelligence for repair shops, insurers, parts companies, fleet operators, and other automotive businesses.
Multiple revenue layers.
One intelligence platform.
What's your revenue and/or growth rate?
Blinkey is currently at an early commercialization stage, so our primary focus is product validation, user acquisition, and improving retention rather than maximizing short-term revenue.
The app is available on both iOS and Android and uses a freemium model. Users can access core functionality for free, while advanced functionality is offered through a Pro subscription.

Prove repeat usage and recurring engagement across diagnostics, maintenance, vehicle health, driving insights, recalls, and accident-related services—creating stronger lifetime value than a single-purpose scanner app.
From a bootstrapped app to a global vehicle intelligence ecosystem.
Anything else investors should know?
The current app already brings together vehicle diagnostics, live OBD2 information, maintenance management, trip information, AI-assisted diagnostic explanations, recall information, and AI-based accident damage and repair-cost estimation.
We are also pursuing a longer-term hardware strategy involving a dedicated OBD2 device with additional sensing capabilities. Combining proprietary hardware, vehicle telemetry, mobile sensor data, and AI could allow Blinkey to develop a differentiated vehicle intelligence dataset over time.
The automotive aftermarket is entering a new era: raw data is becoming abundant, but users still need an intelligent layer that explains the data and helps them decide what to do next.
That intelligent layer is what we are building with Blinkey.LET'S BUILD THE FUTURE OF VEHICLE INTELLIGENCE
