1. Information We Use
Blinkey does not require your name, phone number, or email address to use the core app. To operate the service, we may use vehicle-related and device-related technical data such as OBD2 diagnostic information, VIN information when you choose to provide it, app usage logs, crash-analysis related inputs, and anonymized identifiers needed to deliver the service.
2. Purpose of Use
We use the information we collect to provide vehicle diagnostics, generate driving and analysis reports, improve AI-based crash interpretation, maintain app stability, prevent abuse, and respond to support or service issues.
3. Optional VIN Registration
Providing a VIN is optional. When supplied, it is used only to improve vehicle-specific compatibility such as model identification, trim-level matching, and more accurate diagnostic interpretation. Most basic features remain available without VIN registration.
4. Driving and Sensor Data
For driving records and safety-related analysis, Blinkey may process motion signals from your device such as accelerometer and gyroscope data together with vehicle telemetry from the connected OBD2 adapter. This helps generate trip insights, event detection, and analysis accuracy.

6. Device Permissions
Bluetooth permission is required to communicate with supported OBD2 BLE devices. Depending on the mobile operating system, location permission may also be required for Bluetooth scanning or certain analysis features. These permissions are requested strictly for service operation.
