Blinkey Terms of Service

Below is the full Terms of Service presented in a single flowing document layout so visitors can read it like a standard policy page without boxed card sections.

1. Safe Driving Obligation

Do not operate Blinkey or stare at the screen while driving. Any accident, damage, injury, citation, or other liability arising from unsafe use of the app is the sole responsibility of the user. Use the service only when the vehicle is safely stopped or in a legally compliant manner.

2. Diagnostic Information Disclaimer

DTC codes, sensor values, AI interpretations, and other outputs are provided for reference only. Blinkey does not replace a professional inspection, mechanic, repair shop, insurer, attorney, or official investigator. Diagnostic results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate depending on the vehicle, adapter, phone, and connection conditions.

3. No DTC Clearing Feature

For user safety and vehicle protection, Blinkey provides DTC lookup support but does not guarantee or require a code-clearing function. When fault codes are detected, users should seek professional inspection to identify and resolve the root cause rather than relying solely on app output.

4. Accuracy Limitations

Driving distance, fuel economy, emissions estimates, event detection, crash interpretation, and related figures may differ from real-world values due to ECU timing, adapter quality, signal gaps, mounting conditions, sensor quality, network delays, or AI-model limitations. Average fuel-price based estimates may also differ from actual refueling costs.

5. Device and Adapter Requirements

Blinkey may work best with selected OBD2 adapters. Unverified or low-quality adapters can cause disconnects, slow updates, incorrect readings, or unstable behavior. Users are responsible for choosing compatible hardware and for unplugging adapters when appropriate to reduce battery drain risk.

6. Service Scope

Blinkey offers a combination of free and paid features, including Pro features where available. Feature availability may change over time, may differ by region or platform, and may be subject to usage caps, trial limits, subscription status, or technical availability.

7. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid features are billed through the relevant app marketplace or platform account. Free trials, billing cycles, renewal rules, cancellation timing, and refund processing follow the terms of the applicable store. Users are responsible for managing subscription settings through their own store account.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blinkey and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for losses resulting from vehicle damage, personal injury, missed faults, false alerts, service interruptions, lost data, business loss, or reliance on AI-generated analysis.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms, modify features, suspend parts of the service, or discontinue certain functions when necessary for legal, technical, business, or safety reasons. Continued use of Blinkey after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
